I want to create an access route through units of architectural and gestural space, through a constant process of filling and emptying, adding things and taking things away. I experiment with works through this process, through the cumulative aglomeration of 'stuff' within a tight unit of physical activity, to elements within
multiple or single objects.

The work is generated through an interest in repetitive units of fabrication, the physical gestures of construction and of board game 'play'. Driven by the potential of multiple cellular structures being transplantable over a given unit of architectural space, I see structural features forming repetitive layers and reflexive patterns which are found within the structures of board games. I am fascinated by the manipulation of electrical 'architecture', such as junction boxes and trunking, often combining them with such materials as cardboard or similar mediums that interrupt and alter there function.
